I have acquired three one thousand litre tanks for spraying underneath vehicles when entering and leaving the Wandoo Woodlands NP, two for spraying underneath vehicles one for mixing concrete sign posts at Pony Rock, Deefore Road Wetlands, and Piggery Road Wetlands. Now it’s just a matter of getting funding for a car trailer or truck to carry water tanks with pump and pressure hose & reel, so we can organise preparation for the signs. A question was asked about where the runoff would be collected from vehicles being washed. Laurence replied that discussions with DPaW were in progress.

Wilbinga Clean Up- originally it was expected that one hundred & fifty volunteers would show up on the day, but only approximately 30 showed for the actual Sunday clean up (perhaps because of the adverse weather expected), and about three trailers. Some showers, heavy around lunch time and when it came time to unload trailers at the Drop Point and pack up to head home. A good day over all and an excellent job by the Volunteers. The Wilbinga Shacks Crew has supplied Laurence with a map of the SW Wilbinga area to assist with placement of the advisory signs. The signs will carry the logos of Track Care, 4WD Association and DPaW. The Shacks Crew will install the signs as part of their adoption agreement with DPaW.

There was some further discussion on the problems of dumped rubbish, the quantity of which is increasingly alarmingly.
