Here are a few items to consider taking with you when entering into the Park, just to portray some responsibility.
  • Only an on-road registered 4wd vehicle, no off-road licenced or unlicensed vehicles are permitted within the Park;
  • On-road registered AWD vehicles - may be not on the beaches (seasonal) - sort of at your own risk as with everything;
  • Tyre gauge;
  • Tyre deflators;
  • Tyre compressor;
  • Tyre repair kit including tyre valves and a device to take the tyre valve out;
  • A ratchet tie down (for re-beading tyres);
  • Recovery hooks front & rear;
  • Snatch straps;
  • Bow shackles;
  • Equaliser strap;
  • Exhaust jack;
  • Max Trax;
  • Sand flag;
  • UHF radio - handheld or in car;
  • 10 litres of water;
  • Heavy duty rubbish bags;
  • Last but not least... tyres NEED to be deflated to minimise wheel spin, all tyres need to be aired down at the beginning - Wilbinga Road.
Also take into account that the largest convoy and any group in training will have the right of way on the 4wd tracks - this minuses damage to flora and fauna.

And no one rides in the back of utes or on the side of 4wd/awd vehicles whilst traversing the beaches.

There is NO collection of fire wood within the park.

Western Australian statuary road rules apply within the park - MUST DRIVE TO CONDITIONS!

Use the alternate entry to Wilbinga Road as Main Roads have determined that the original entry is a traffic hazard being so close to Military Road - Why? because speed of traffic at that point is 110kph.

Please support the Wilbinga Shacks 4x4 Crew in their adoption of the Wilbinga Conservation Park with the Department of Parks and Wildlife in an effort to maintain sustainable access for the future.

Safe travels B)

Adoptions Report...

trackcare.com.au/home/images/report/2015...port_Wilbinga-v3.pdf

And the follow up to the report...

Maps for proposed circumnavigation route of the Park travelling in a clockwise direction because there are bins at Wilbinga Grove;

Its hoped that this track will be classified against the 'track classification system' in time.

The Wilbinga Shacks 4x4 Crew would really appreciate that the track behind the Shacks is used and not the one through the shacks as at times there are people on foot on these tracks and there are quite a few blind corners. Thanks.
